They broke bread together – literally and figuratively – Thursday night, as members of the Muslim community welcomed the area’s top federal law enforcement officers to a Buffalo mosque.
Visitors were politely reminded to remove their shoes upon entering Masjid-Zakariya on Sobieski Street, the former Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral. In a side room with colorful tiled walls and thick carpeting, one table was laid with Middle Eastern food, another with sweets and coffee.
