This was a great weekend for me! So many exciting things transpired and a few new bonds were formed. Not the least of which, was the surprise of seeing Dean Becker Jr., rake in hand, ready to help out at the Central Terminal clean up.
As a few of you may know, Dean is the great-grandson of John Eckhardt, founder of Eckhardt’s Department Store at 950 Broadway, and member of the family that still owns the building.
