On Saturday night, Bishop Grosz pastor of St. Stanislaus Church unveiled plans for a housing development around parish.
“We have got to take back this neighborhood. If we don’t do it, nothing is going to happen here.” ~Bishop Grosz.
The plan offers housing opportunities for all. It is an attempt by the parish to create a new community of homeowners in the neighborhood. Their goal is to offer affordable housing to anyone that is interested in helping revive the neighborhood. There are no income guidelines.
M&T Bank is offering low-cost mortgages to interested parties. Michael McHugh is the developer. (McHugh has been intregal in the restoration of St. Stans)
