Today was a beautiful day in more ways than the weather! Although it is Kris ODonnells last night on the air and she chose to do her last newscast story about The East Side, Sister Johnice and The Broadway Market,Kris is a terrific person and BFA wishes her the VERY BEST!
It was great to meet Mike Gilhooly,See alot of my friends including Danny Wittkopp from my favorite block,I also introduced him to another of my favorite people Al Vaughters who interviewed Danny and it was mentioned about our push to make the Eckhardt building the future home of the Presidential Library!The more people who see the building and think about this library the more sense it makes to everyone, Dont we need to recognize Millard Fillmore on Fillmore Ave in the Fillmore District?
In closing Broadway was buzzing today alot of people were walking around,shopping and I have a vision of a locally owned ice cream stand right on Broadway can you imagine how much business it would of gotten today?
