Give a Little Bit: 4th Annual Holiday Stockings for St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy

BFA co-founder Michele Johnson started a wonderful tribute in memory of her son a few years ago. Each year she gathers together 140 stockings made up of the items below for the kids Saint Luke’s Mission of Mercy helps out. This year, BFA has jumped on board to help her and Saint Luke’s out.

This is where you come in. I am asking BFA readers to donate a stocking.

Each stocking should include the following:

Pair of Socks (Toddler or Teen)
Small Toy or Stuffed Animal
$5 Gift Card to McDonalds, Burger King or Tim Horton’s

The stockings are passed out to the children who are coming to St Luke’s for Christmas dinner.

IF YOU CAN HELP US WITH THIS MISSION FOR THE MISSION, leave a message in comment section of this post and let us know you can donate. If it is easier for you to donate money for this cause, you can send via PayPal via the donate button below. Any amount will help.

We will be dropping them off on Thursday December 20th at 11am. We invite everyone who donates stockings to meet us there or if that is not convenient we can make other arrangements by contacting BFA here—>

Saint Luke’s Mission of Mercy does a lot of amazing work in the neighborhood. You can read more about the mission here—>

THANK YOU!!!

  1. While this is a truly amazing idea and gift to keep in mind during the holiday season and all year long, can I recommend instead of McDonald’s or Burger King- maybe Subway or Salsarita’s where there are fresh and healthy options available? I can’t imagine any child walking into McDonald’s to order the apple “fries” instead of french fries.
