Mass to commemorate Polish Constitution Day at Saint Stan’s

A mass and program will be held on Sunday May 2, 2010 at noon at St. Stanislaus Church with SPK veterans to commemorate Polish Constitution Day that falls on May 3.  A reception will follow in Marian Hall.

The Constitution of May 3, 1791 was Europe’s first and the world’s second modern constitution, following the 1788 ratification of the United States Constitution. [read more about Polish Constitution here]

The date is also a national holiday for Poland and is celebrated in many Polish communities in America and around the world.
