Corpus Christi Roof Finished
By Christopher Byrd | January 19, 2010

If you have not noticed, work on replacing Corpus Christi’s roof wrapped up a couple of weeks ago!
The roof suffered a lot of damage during a late 2008 windstorm.
Before that storm, roof replacement was already on the list of projects to complete for the church…the storm accelerated the restoration process and a new slate roof is in place.
The roof is just one of many projects that are part of restoring the church campus on Clark and Sears Streets.
Great news!

So it is slate… a friend and I were debating whether it was a restoration of original materials or some new look-a-like roof shingle… that must have cost a pretty penny!
P.S. You should always take advantage of every opportunity to mention Clark and ‘Kent’ street… because it’s just too cool and it always makes me smile.
