Centennial Music Series Finale & Coffee Sunday with Saint Nick at Corpus Christi 12/06

By Christopher Byrd | December 1, 2009

Corpus Christi Church

The Ludowa Nuta Polish Canadian Folk Choir from Hamilton, Ontario will sing Gorale music at the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 6, and the Niagara County All College Choir under the direction of Brad Wingert will sing at the 11:30 a.m. Mass that same day. The All College Choir will perform before and during the Mass, and present a short concert afterward. All are welcome.

It’s also getting chilly outside – join Corpus Christi Parish for a hot cup of coffee or tea after Mass. Warm friendship awaits you!

You will also have a chance to meet St. Nicholas and take a picture with him! Bring your children.

December 6 is St. Nicholas Day. He is the patron saint of Germany. What a fine coincidence that the kids will meet St. Nick on his special day. It sounds like this will be a great celebration at your parish.

    Keep up the good work!

Not only that, the red-suited Santa Claus was much lesser known in countries like Poland until recently, where pretty much only St. Nicholas dressed as a bishop was known. I remember getting treats under my pillow on Dec. 6.
