Buffalo News: Putting a smile on Christmas

Kavon McCutcheon, 7, was eating Christmas dinner — chicken cordon bleu with all the fixings — while clutching a stuffed animal and a Pokemon toy. His brother, Kevin, 4, was at the end of the table showing off an action figure.
The McCutcheon boys were the faces of Christmas present at an East Side neighborhood agency Friday, thanks largely to the generosity of those who once again didn’t forget The Buffalo News Neediest Fund this season.
Their mother, Vokira Small, wouldn’t have been able to put such big smiles on Kavon’s and Kevin’s faces.
