Michele sent me and Chris the rough cut version of the new documentary she\u2019s working on with Marc from WNY Media.net about the serious house flipping problem we\u2019re having on sections of the west side and in Broadway Fillmore. It\u2019s working title is \u201cFlipped\u201d.<\/font><\/p>\n

I can tell you that this is an emotional, eye-opening film that must not be missed! It\u2019s an honest, gritty and\u00a0thoughtful look at one of the biggest problems in Buffalo: the repeated sale of houses over the internet by people looking to make a quick profit. Some of these homes are on the demolition list, not\u00a0habitable or even owned by the person selling them. At best, they are misrepresented in their content:encodeds.<\/font><\/p>\n

In my opinion, this documentary encapsulates the three years of hard work that Michele has dedicated to slowing this practice. We are hoping that once it is seen by the local public, it will blow the lid off this dirty, little secret.<\/font><\/p>\n
