{"id":886,"date":"2006-04-14T02:09:22","date_gmt":"2006-04-14T06:09:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/04\/14\/seven-churches-broadway-fillmore-alive-tonight\/"},"modified":"2006-04-14T02:09:22","modified_gmt":"2006-04-14T06:09:22","slug":"seven-churches-broadway-fillmore-alive-tonight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/04\/seven-churches-broadway-fillmore-alive-tonight\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven Churches: Broadway Fillmore Alive Tonight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" hspace=4 src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.broadwayfillmorealive.org\/news\/data\/upimages\/ccrose.jpg?w=640\" align=right vspace=4 border=1>As I usually do on Holy Thursday, I made my way to\u00a0 seven churches this evening.<\/p>\n<p>My night started off with an unusual twist.\u00a0 Father Anselm from Corpus Christi asked me if I wanted to be part of the symbolic apostle group that is part of the Holy Thursday\u00a0 mass.\u00a0 What this entails is sitting up on the altar as a priest washes your feet as the way Jesus did at the last supper.\u00a0 How could I not\u00a0accept a request like this? <\/p>\n<p>I am a very spiritual person.\u00a0 Witnessing the ceremony from the pews is moving enough, but to actually be part of it was something that I can only describe as deeply religous.\u00a0 Plainly said, it was a profound experience.<\/p>\n<p>If you have never been to Corpus Christi for a mass, I suggest that you do find a way to go.\u00a0 The Pauline Fathers who took control of Corpus Christi a few years ago are equally traditionalists and in touch with the world around them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I usually do on Holy Thursday, I made my way to\u00a0 seven churches this evening.
