{"id":819,"date":"2006-05-17T11:36:15","date_gmt":"2006-05-17T15:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/05\/17\/student-art-hangs-in-old-central-terminal\/"},"modified":"2006-05-17T11:36:15","modified_gmt":"2006-05-17T15:36:15","slug":"student-art-hangs-in-old-central-terminal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/05\/student-art-hangs-in-old-central-terminal\/","title":{"rendered":"Student art hangs in old Central Terminal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.buffalonews.com\/graphics\/2006\/05\/17\/0517central.jpg?w=640\"><\/p>\n<p>(Buffalo News \u2013 By BRIAN HAYDEN, Next Correspondent) \u2013 Students from 26 schools around Western New York will have their art displayed this weekend at the Student Celebration of the Visual Arts show at Buffalo\u2019s Central Terminal, located at Paderewski and Memorial drives. <\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s show drew more than 4,000 people and 1,500 works from 500 high school and college students to the historic 76-year-old train station. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe amount of people all packed into the Central Terminal last year made the show very exciting,\u201d said Chris Cook, a teacher at North Tonawanda High School and one of the organizers of this year\u2019s show. \u201cThe terminal really brings a connection between kids and their grandparents.
