A nationally recognized expert in public markets has been called upon to begin a regional discussion about the future of the Broadway Public Market. The discussion, Revisiting and Re-Imagining the Broadway Public Market, will take place on Friday, February 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Minnie Gillette Auditorium, at Erie Community College City Campus, 121 Ellicott Street, Buffalo. The event will include a review of the 1999 Project for Public Spaces Report on the Market and information about changing public market trends since the study was published 12 years ago. This event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

“Listening and learning from Project For Public Spaces will begin meaningful regional dialogue about the Broadway Public Market,” said Buffalo Common Council President & Fillmore District Councilman David Franczyk. “I hope that this conversation will raise new questions about the future of the Broadway Public Market and will assist in focusing all stakeholders in the planning process.”<\/p>\n
