A couple of days ago I had the 1920 census data for the neighborhood sent to me.<\/p>\n

I found where my Great Grandparents and Babcia lived in 1920.<\/p>\n

After checking if the the house was still there on Google Maps, I drove over on Tuesday and took the above photo.<\/p>\n

My grandmother lived there until she was about 4 years old…she was 3 years and 3 months old at the time the census was taken…the family was growing and moved to Young Street after Townsend.<\/p>\n

I knew she lived on Townsend…I never knew the address.<\/p>\n

What a wild feeling it was to be sitting there parked in front of the house almost 91 years afterward.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
