Minus the current overgrowth of trees and shrubs surrounding the building, this photo can really make you appreciate the extremely tall steeple on this magnificent building!<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t been able to find any interior photos, other than those showing its current state, and those are far too sad for me to want to share here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As per Michele&#8217;s request in a comment to my last post, here is a 1940&#8217;s photograph of the then-thriving Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church.
