Photo taken in 2002<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n Just a few short years ago, the magnificent Buffalo Central Terminal was stripped of almost every last ounce of her dignity. The terrible double-edged sword of the $20 million demolition cost at once saved her from the wrecking ball and furthered the demoralization of a neighborhood with her continued abuse.<\/font><\/p>\n I\u2019m sometimes asked why I care. There are many personal and spiritual reasons that I\u2019ll be glad to share with you if you care to hear them, but the bottom line for me is that there is no alternative BUT to work to preserve this building and attract redevelopment. <\/font><\/p>\n It will not fall down. The City of Buffalo does not have $20 million to tear it down and won\u2019t have it at any time in the near future (not that we\u2019d ever let them tear down our building!). The alternative is to let\u00a0THIS happen to her again.
