What a great Mass it was a Saint Adalbert Basilica yesterday\u2026<\/p>\n

Though our goal was attracting 200+ of the basilica\u2019s Facebook fans, we didn\u2019t quite reach that number. It was exciting to me though when I approached Saint Adalbert\u2019s from Rother Street, to see a lot more cars and people than I usually see when I attend Mass there\u2026mission accomplished.<\/p>\n

On this Sunday morning in late July, people knew that Saint Adalbert\u2019s was ALIVE and well.<\/p>\n

The Mass and event was a reaffirmation of sorts to me about why I help places like Saint Adalbert\u2019s. The basilica is an important part of the fabric that makes B-F what it is. I suspect that it was a reaffirmation to the hard working parishioners of Saint Adalbert\u2019s who have overcome the odds and keep the parish moving along. The atmosphere was equal parts electric and divine\u2026you cold see the excitement on the faces of parishioners.<\/p>\n

It was wonderful to see so many \u201cnew\u201d faces at 10:30 this morning\u2026. As a member of the community of St Adalbert\u2019s for almost 30 years, I want to send a great big thank you to all who came, and sincerely hope that you felt right at home in our beautiful church, and that you will come back more often, not because we ask you to, but because you want to\u2026.our parish family welcomes all with open arms and hearts\u2026.we look forward to seeing again soon\u2026.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
