A couple of weeks ago a longtime eyesore at 154 Lathrop Street was finally demolished. The house had been in bad shape for a number of years.<\/p>\n

The demo came out of the attention brought to the area during the RTLC’s Earth Day \u201cGood and Green Homes\u201d Project<\/a>.\u00a0 Neighborhood resident Barbara Brader credits City of Buffalo housing inspector for Tracy Krug for getting the building fast tracked for demolition.<\/p>\n

When the RTLC project started, Tracy Krug, the city inspector was looking it over and knew it had to come down. It was structurally unsafe.\u00a0 Thanks to his persistence it was finally taken down.\u00a0 It is great not to have it behind us anymore, and it certainly is much safer for all!\u00a0 Thanks to city hall for a job well done!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
