Buffalo was once known as \u201cThe City of Trees.\u201d This weekend some Fillmore District residents are taking steps to live up to that reputation.<\/p>\n

The Lombard Block club rolled up their sleeves to plant 90 trees near the Saint Adalbert Basilica. It\u2019s part of Re-Tree Western New York\u2019s reforestation efforts to replace the trees lost in the 2006 October Surprise Storm.<\/p>\n
