{"id":480,"date":"2006-11-22T17:29:53","date_gmt":"2006-11-22T21:29:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/11\/22\/response-to-love-center-prepping-for-a-busy-thanksgiving\/"},"modified":"2006-11-22T17:29:53","modified_gmt":"2006-11-22T21:29:53","slug":"response-to-love-center-prepping-for-a-busy-thanksgiving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2006\/11\/response-to-love-center-prepping-for-a-busy-thanksgiving\/","title":{"rendered":"Response to Love Center prepping for a busy Thanksgiving&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/images\/collage.jpg\" target=_blank><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/images\/collage-1.jpg?w=640\" border=1><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This morning I stopped in and helped the Response to Love Center (RTLC) set up for tomorrow&#8217;s Thanksgiving dinner that the center offers to countless people throughout the neighborhood&#8230;I will be there tomorrow as well.<\/p>\n<p>The dinner is an open invitation to the entire community to come and break bread in celebration of all we are thankful for.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know how many turkey&#8217;s me and others carved up today, but the center has enough food to feed an army.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since I started helping Sister Johnice and the RTLC, it never ceases to amaze me how she and the center inspire the very best in people.&nbsp; She has some of&nbsp; the hardest working and dedicated volunteers you will ever find.<\/p>\n<p>When I left the center today, I&nbsp;hopped in my car and just sat there for a minute or two in awe. That may seem a bit strange, but everytime I leave the center I feel like I have witnessed God&#8217;s work first hand.
