The Post Office at 1035 Broadway is on the list of potential post office closings.\u00a0 A number of concerened neighborhood residents and business owners have collected over 600 names on a petition to save\u00a0the post office.\u00a0 They were sent to Congresswoman Louise Slaughter.<\/p>\n

There will be a public hearing on Wednesday, September 23 (1:00 to 4:00 pm)\u00a0 being conducted by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC).\u00a0 It will be held at:<\/p>\n

O\u2019Keefe Commons in O\u2019Hare Hall,
\nRose Hill Campus, Fordham University
\n441 East Fordham Road
\nBronx, New York 10458<\/p>\n

With the hearing being that far away, making it extremely difficult to attend, everyone who is concerned about the closing of the post office needs to send a letter of support\u00a0asap to:<\/strong><\/p>\n
