Corpus Christi Church is looking for Buffalo and Western New York\u2019s best homemade pierogi by holding its second annual Buffalo\u2019s Best Homemade Pierogi Contest.<\/p>\n

The contest is part of Corpus Christi\u2019s 30th\u00a0Do\u017cynki Harvest Festival.<\/p>\n

Applicants will be judged in one of two categories: \u00a0traditional (potato, fruit, cheese or sauerkraut) and non-traditional recipes (use your imagination). The\u00a0contest is open to all amateur cooks. (No restaurants or commercial vendors please.) \u00a0 The winners in each category will receive the title of Buffalo\u2019s Best Homemade Pierogi Maker 2009 and prizes. \u00a0Winners will be determined by a panel of local celebrity judges.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s event was a huge success!<\/p>\n
