Last year, Buffalo beat out Garfield, NJ; Lancaster, PA; Pittsburgh; and Providence, RI to win the first-ever designation of \u201cCapital of the Pierogy Pocket of America\u201d in a national contest sponsored by Mrs. T\u2019s Pierogies. This year, the parishioners of Corpus Christi Church hope to defend the Queen City\u2019s title, and at the same time, bring the \u201cpierogi spotlight\u201d back to the East Side with Buffalo\u2019s biggest Pierogi Party.<\/p>\n
