All are welcome to join us on Saturday, Oct. 11th at 5:30pm at St. Adalbert Basilica as we celebrated our 140th \u2018Pre-Anniversary Mass\u2019 and Devotion to St. Therese of Lisieux, \u201cthe Little Flower.\u201d A blessed rose petal sachet bag with a holy medal will be distributed, symbolizing hope and inspiration for all. Singing at the Mass will be soprano Melanie Bebak.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Canonized 100 years ago, in 1925, St. Therese has become one of the most popular saints around the world. Saint Adalbert\u2019s was one of the first churches in the diocese to have a statue of St. Therese, whose canonization was celebrated with a tableau performed at St. Adalbert\u2019s in August 1925.\u00a0 Shown in the photo is Melanie Graczyk, a member of St. Adalbert Class of 1925 who shared this photo when she attended St. Adalbert\u2019s All-Year Reunion in 2009.<\/p>\n
