The R&L Lounge has been in business for almost 40 years about a 1\/2 block away from the Broadway Market at 23 Mills Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Fridays during Lent, they serve up one mean fish fry for\u00a0a great price\u2026what I love most about going to R&L is that it is like going back in time for me\u2026when I was a little Chris, every gin mill in historic Polonia served up a fish fry during Lent very much like R&L now does and the places were packed\u2026the Byrd family often went to Zephyr\u2019s at Broadway and Deschler back in the day\u2026gosh, it is making me hungry just to think about.<\/p>\n

I have been meaning to post about the R&L since Lent started, but as my BFA life goes, so many things to post about so little time\u2026that is why I was excited to see Mary Kunz Goldman (Buffalo News)\u00a0post about the R&L on her blog\u2026it was a reminder for me to do so here.<\/p>\n

So before Lent is said and done, stop in the R&L Lounge\u2026you won\u2019t be disappointed and it is truly a one-of-a-kind B-F experience.<\/p>\n
