Each year the Polish American Community of Western New York remembers and honors the people of Poland who suffered and perished during World War II with a special commemoration of the martyrdom of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Auschwitz.<\/p>\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event will especially remember the children who were innocent victims of the horrors of war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mass will be held at noon at St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church located at Fillmore & Peckham Avenues, Buffalo, on Sunday, August 13, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light refreshments will be served immediately following the Mass in the Church Social Center where the art exhibit titled, \u201cMom I Don\u2019t Want War!\u201d will be available for viewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is sponsored by Polish American Congress, Polish Legacy Project \u2013 WWII, Polish Chair at Canisius College, and Am-Pol Eagle Newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n
