{"id":23189,"date":"2020-02-05T17:45:32","date_gmt":"2020-02-05T22:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/?p=23189"},"modified":"2020-02-05T17:45:32","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T22:45:32","slug":"city-wants-public-input-for-the-future-of-buffalos-broadway-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2020\/02\/city-wants-public-input-for-the-future-of-buffalos-broadway-market\/","title":{"rendered":"City wants public input for the future of Buffalo&#8217;s Broadway Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you\u2019re a Buffalo resident, here\u2019s your opportunity to give input on what should happen to revive the Broadway Market and other future development as part of its overall 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan for Buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Buffalo worked on improvements at the market ranging from WI-FI, to a new commercial kitchen, to a new police substation, and planned facade changes.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a $50 million dollar East Side Improvement Program, the state is giving an additional $4 million to develop a master plan with the goal of making the market more of a year round destination beyond those traditional Easter and Christmas crowds.<\/p>\n<p>To help guide its overall planning and the use of federal funding over the next five years, the city is now looking for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalony.gov\/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=500\">public comments on an\u00a0online survey<\/a>.
