The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, the BlueCross BlueShield Blue Fund and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation are joining forces with KaBOOM! to design and build a brand new, state of the art playground in MLK Jr. Park.<\/p>\n

This project will kick off on DESIGN DAY, where a KaBOOM! Project Manager will lead a meeting for adults and an interactive session for kids.<\/p>\n

DESIGN DAY DETAILS<\/strong>

4:30pm Children\u2019s Design Session
\nCalling all playground experts! All kids present will have the chance to draw their dream playground. The drawings will be used as inspiration for the final playground design.<\/p>\n

5:30pm Adults\u2019 Planning Meeting
\nCommunity support is essential to making this project a success. Attendees will learn more about working with KaBOOM! and have the opportunity to sign up to be on the planning committee for the playground Build Day. They will also use the children\u2019s drawings to help pick out playground equipment and colors for the new custom playground.<\/p>\n
