The church hasn\u2019t won\u00a0the title\u00a0yet, but I don\u2019t think anyone involved with this pierogi project expected the turnout considering all the competing things going on in Buffalo and WNY on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There were people lined up down Sears Street waiting to get in\u2026the event was scheduled to run for two hours\u2026it went three plus\u2026Corpus Christi\u2019s 11:30 AM mass which preceded \u201cBuffalo\u2019s Biggest Pierogi Party\u201d had almost triple the attendance from\u00a0a normal Sunday\u2026all the parishioner made pierogi was sold out\u2026people from all over WNY came\u2026they came to an event that was planned in about a week\u2026all of it one big WOW!<\/p>\n<p>The church is now putting together its application package to send to Mrs. T\u2019s\u2026there is no doubt in my mind what the end result will be.<\/p>\n<p>The above video is just a small sampling of the event\u2026a nother video is being put together as part of the application, once it is complete, it will be shared with all of you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All I can say is that Corpus Christi\u2019s attempt to defend Buffalo\u2019s title as \u201cThe Pierogy Pocket Capital of America\u201d was a huge success.
