Alexander O. Levy was born in Germany and came to Buffalo in 1909.\u00a0 He was the art director at Larkin Soap around 1913.<\/p>\n

The attached painting, Broadway Market Impending Storm was painted in 1933. The original is currently part of the collection of the Burchfield-Penny.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
