Situated on Broadway at Lombard Street, it is surrounded by historic architecture including that of the notable Wladyslaw Zawadzki &#8211; who designed elegant public and private architecture both in this neighborhood, and the satellite Polish settlement in Black Rock. Views from the roof of the Market are 360 degrees- with numerous church spires, the Central Terminal, and other sights, as shown in Chris Byrd&#8217;s recent post on his fantastic blog, Broadway Fillmore Alive: <a href=\"http:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2016\/05\/photos-a-roof-with-a-view\/\">http:\/\/broadwayfillmorealive.org\/2.0\/2016\/05\/photos-a-roof-with-a-view\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The rooftop veggie garden is beautiful, and still yielding food- and will provide some shade for attendees, but sunscreen and a cold bottle of water are highly recommended!
