Thousands upon thousands of people will descend on East Buffalo\u2019s Historic Polonia today to let loose after lent.<\/p>\n<p>What used to be a primarily Polish day of fun and frivolity has now exploded into a day where Buffalo and Western New York celebrate the area\u2019s rich Polish heritage regardless of one\u2019s ethnic background. Marty Biniasz and Eddy Dobosiewicz are largely responsible for elevating Dyngus Day to local and national prominence with their efforts over the last decade.
