Each year the parishioners of Saint John Kanty Church get together before lent and make pierogi to sell to the community and parish as a fundraiser for the church\u2026last year they made close to 10000. That\u2019s a lot of pierogi.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"amzn_view_checked\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wnymedia.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2014\/03\/207487_168416993213428_2800306_n.jpg?resize=225%2C218\" alt=\"Pierogi Sale Begins at Saint John Kanty\" width=\"225\" height=\"218\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It starts on Saturday, February\u00a021st\u00a0(3-5 p.m.) and Sunday, February 22nd (9:30-12 noon) \u2014 then every Saturday and Sunday through Palm Sunday, March 29th. They have cheese and sauerkraut pierogi available in the school cafeteria.
