The former Chudy Paper building on Lombard Street across from the Broadway Market is being pursued by brothers\u00a0Ray and Glenn Kasprzyk as the site of distillery they want to open.<\/p>\n

From Buffalo Business First<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Brothers Ray and\u00a0Glenn Kasprzyk<\/a>, later this week, are expected to purchase a former Chudy Paper Co. warehouse on Lombard Street and use the building as the manufacturing base for Bison Distillery, their company that will produce rye-based vodka and, later, whiskey. The brothers have formed Polonia Holdings LLC to buy the 5,700-square-foot building and begin work on vodka production.<\/p>\n

Bison Distillery would be the first vodka manufacturer in Buffalo\u2019s Fillmore district in generations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re doing this to help the neighborhood,\u201d Ray Kasprzyk said. \u201cWe\u2019re bring an old building back to life and, at the same time, we are creating a brand name for Buffalo.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
