Judging by zooming in on the original photo, the building was in pretty bad shape.<\/p>\n<p>As I was driving westbound on Broadway on Friday afternoon to meet up with Chris for an appointment, just as I was by this building, a loud noise, billowing dust cloud and a shower of bricks spilled onto the sidewalk and opposite lane. One of the workers ran as the facade came tumbling down.<\/p>\n<p>As Chris and I were chatting, we saw several emergency vehicles headed towards that area. Nothing was reported in the local media and we certainly hope no one was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t have much information on the building and it\u2019s not in the historical resource survey. The crest of the building says \u201c1917\u201d. Had I had the time, I would have asked to look for this cement plaque among the rubble. It\u2019s buildings like this that need the services of <a href=\"http:\/\/buffaloreuse.wnymedia.net\/\">Buffalo ReUse<\/a> to come in and salvage some of its historical bits.
