Every year at St. Luke\u2019s, the mission has a major Food Giveaway at Thanksgiving time. This year they are giving away 2,600 bundles of food \u2013 each bundle consists of two bags of dry \/ canned goods including rolls, potatoes, vegetables, macaroni & cheese, cookies, etc. Each bundle also consists of a bag of perishable items including meat, butter, milk, frozen desserts, etc. God is so good! All of these items are either donated or purchased with funds that were donated. The food giveaway is an awesome thing to witness and an even more incredible thing to be a part of!<\/p>\n

Here is the calendar of events for the 2013 Thanksgiving Food Giveaway:<\/p>\n

Sat. 23rd<\/strong>
\n9:00 AM \u2013 4:00 PM \u2013 Packing for Food Giveaway @ St. Luke\u2019s Mission of Mercy<\/p>\n

Tue. 26th<\/strong>
\n10:30 AM \u2013 Food Giveaway @ St. Luke\u2019s Mission of Mercy<\/p>\n

St. Luke\u2019s gives almost 1000 bundles of food to other churches and ministries in the East Side of Buffalo area to allow them to \u201cfeed the hungry\u201d and spread the love and mercy of God to their congregations as well.<\/p>\n
