From Saint Ann’s website:<\/p>\n

Supporters of Saint Ann\u2019s came out in full force today to speak before the Buffalo Common Council in a hearing about making the church campus a local landmark. \u00a0The hearing lasted a little over an hour and with the exception of one dissenting response from public comment portion of the hearing, close to twenty people spoke in favor in making Saint Ann\u2019s a local landmark. \u00a0Members of Saint Ann\u2019s, preservationists, local activists and the community at large spoke to the importance of preserving the church campus and how the its already a local landmark without official designation.<\/p>\n

Due to a technicality, the common council had\u00a0to delay voting on landmark status for two weeks.<\/p>\n

We have a favor to ask you in helping ensure the Buffalo Common Council votes to approve local landmark status in two weeks. \u00a0Please\u00a0contact the following council members and urge them to approve landmark status.<\/p>\n
