On Tuesday, September 24 at 2pm, the issue of making Saint Ann’s Church and Shrine (http:\/\/saintannbuffalo.org\/<\/a>)\u00a0a local landmark comes before the Buffalo Common Council in the council’s chambers. \u00a0If the council approves the landmark status for the church, it will go a long way in helping ensure Saint Ann’s will not be demolished by the Buffalo Diocese.<\/p>\n

What can you do? \u00a0If you can’t make this meeting tomorrow at city hall, contact the following council members and urge them to approve landmark status. \u00a0It is really as easy as that. \u00a0People often think they don’t have a voice, but you do…use it. \u00a0Saint Ann’s deserves no less. \u00a0The East Side and the Broadway corridor has lost a lot of buildings over the last two decades. \u00a0Let’s not let this glorious church disappear.<\/p>\n
