Beautiful, intelligent, glamorous and confident, 16-year-old Juliana astounded us with her worldly sophistication. Visiting Niagara Falls, sledding at Chestnut Ridge Park and playing with our neighbors\u2019 children, she approached each new experience with relish.<\/p>\n<p>One day, seeking to give her an honest picture of our country, we took her to visit St. Luke\u2019s Mission on Buffalo\u2019s East Side.
