Festival to Feature Special Polka Mass, Pierogi Contest, Polish Food, Music and more<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The 34th annual Do\u017cynki Polish Harvest Festival at Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo, New York will take place\u00a0on August 16, 17 and 18. \u00a0The word Do\u017cynki means a celebration of harvest and is a centuries old tradition by farmers in rural Poland.<\/p>\n

This is the largest festival in East Buffalo\u2019s Historic Polonia. The weekend long celebration will include traditional Polish food, music and drink. \u00a0Festival highlights include the 6th Annual Buffalo\u2019s Best Pierogi Contest\u00a0on Saturday, August 17 at 4:30pm, heritage vendors, and the Harvest Mass\u00a0on Sunday, August 19 at 11:30am\u00a0featuring polka and folk music.<\/p>\n

The festival opens\u00a0on Friday, August 16 at 5:30\u00a0and closes\u00a0on Sunday, August 18 at 7pm.<\/p>\n

Corpus Christi Church\u00a0was founded in 1898 and is located in the heart of East Buffalo\u2019s Historic Polonia.<\/p>\n
