First, the big news.<\/p>\n

While making arrangements to pay for and pick up the light from Navarro Gallery in Toronto, Roberto Navarro dropped a nice Christmas surprise on me. \u00a0He is going to donate the fixture back to the Central Terminal under the condition that we give the $3000 raised to the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation\u2019s (CTRC)\u00a0Adopt a Tile<\/em>\u00a0campaign.\u00a0As you can imagine, my heart dropped and I can\u2019t even describe how I felt when I heard\u2026simply incredible news for this effort and for the Central Terminal.<\/p>\n

The light is going to be picked up on Thursday and brought back to Buffalo.<\/p>\n

\"Mickies\"<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the light will be on display for the public to see at the Adam Mickiewicz Library and Dramatic Circle\u2019s End of the World Christmas Party <\/a>from 8pm to 11pm. \u00a0(Admission is $5.00 for non members or free\u00a0for people wearing christmas sweaters and anyone that brings food or snacks.)\u00a0<\/em>The idea is to give people an opportunity to see the light before it is formally turned over to the CTRC next week.<\/p>\n

Once again, thank you to all those who gave towards the effort. \u00a0It was truly a special Buffalo moment where the community came together to give back and support the efforts of the CTRC in keeping one of Broadway-Fillmore\u2019s treasure\u2019s ALIVE!<\/p>\n
