Tonight I checked into Marty Biniasz\u2019s \u201cForgotten Buffalo\u201d web site and was surprised to find a picture of the Rivoli Theatre\u2026for those of us old enough to remember, the theatre was located at 1111 Broadway at the corner of Sweet Avenue.<\/p>\n

The Rivoli was a classic as classic movie houses go\u2026I saw countless films there as a child\u2026for whatever reason, the memory of\u00a0seeing \u201cSmokey and the Bandit\u201d there sticks out the most\u2026I think it has something to do with eating at Balo\u2019s on\u00a0Bailey before the movie and falling in love with roast beef on weck that same evening courtesy of my dad.<\/p>\n

Anyone else have Rivoli memories or Balo\u2019s memories???<\/p>\n

The only downside to this post is that the above picture is of the demo of the Rivoli\u2026 \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
