Abandoned at birth, Jerry Balone spent most of his life in foster homes, orphanages, detention centers, and reform schools before going to prison for his involvement in a robbery in which three people were killed.<\/p>\n

Balone\u2019s true story of crime, gangs, and prison life is one that should be read by anyone who believes in the power of education, rehabilitation, and redemption.<\/p>\n
