Father Thaddeus Bocianowski, Pastor of Saint Adalbert, Saint Stanislaus and Saint John Kanty, will be on hand to do a special blessing of the trees and volunteers…very cool.
Close to one-hundred trees will be planted on Kosciuszko, Stanislaus, Woltz, Lathrop, and Sobieski streets in B-F.
The project is being coordinated by Re-Tree WNY in conjuction with the Lombard Street Block Club and is a continuation and complimentary project to the Earth Day “Good and Green Homes” Project around the Response to Love Center and Saint Adalbert Basilica last week.
