It is a very unique way to not only celebrate the BASILICA, but also celebrate Buffalo’s beautiful Polish American heritage. Polka music is in a lot of ways is the folk music of our forefathers and mothers who helped build the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. If you have never been to a Polka Mass, you are in for a treat!!!
What a great time it was at Arty’s on Saturday afternoon…thanks to an email earlier in the day from Forgotten Buffalo, I got check out Jerry Darlak and the Touch as they played at Arty’s Christmas party.
Thank you to all who participated in last night’s historic tour of taverns in Polonia. Despite 8-12 inches of snow…we only had 8 cancellations! Isn’t Buffalo great!!!!!!

This is free show in one of the best family owned taverns in the Historic Polonia District. Arty’s has a great selection of Polish Beers and is only minutes from the 190-Smith Fillmore exit.
So after I went to the Broadway Market, I made my way to Arty’s Grill.
