I just couldn’t resist going down to the Terminal tonight and shooting some pics during the Ghost Hunters Halloween special…the Terminal was almost fully illuminated…a rare op to see it like this and to take some pics…LONG LIVE THE CENTRAL TERMINAL!!!

BFA’s web stats were off the hook yesterday and today with people searching for info about the Terminal…I am sure the the Central Terminal’s website experienced the same. The attention it received yesterday can only help the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation’s cause.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation and the Syfy television channel announced today that the nationwide television broadcast of Ghost Hunters Halloween Live will originate from the historic Buffalo Central Terminal. The live broadcast is scheduled to air Sunday, October 31, from 7PM-1AM (ET/PT).

The six-hour Ghost Hunters Halloween Live event will feature the TAPS team’s (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) hunt for paranormal activity inside the Terminal. The entire Ghost Hunters franchise and other special guests, will team up to take on the haunts at the inimitable Buffalo Central Terminal in Buffalo, New York. Built in 1929 and abandoned 50 years later, the Terminal was once a bustling, 14-story combination office tower and train station. Now, this art deco masterpiece is a potent hotbed of paranormal activity. Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters Academy are produced in association with Craig Piligian’s Pilgrim Films and Television.

Have you seen a Ghost Hunters Academy motor home around town this week? Well the secret is out! Film crews from the TV Show Ghost Hunters Academy, filmed an episode for the show at the Terminal this last week that will air on the SyFy Channel this Novemeber. Ghost Hunters Academy is a spin-off of the original Ghost Hunters show that just filmed at the Terminal last year. The shows concept is about seasoned investigators Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango taking novice college age investigators to “haunted” locations and properly teaching them how to become paranormal investigators.

This Halloween, the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, WNY Ghost Hunters and the Iron Island Preservation Society invite you for an evening of things that go bump in the night at both the Buffalo Central Terminal AND Iron Island Museum!

On October 30th, you can ghost hunt two of Buffalo’s most haunted locations with some of your favorite paranormal TV personalities! The Halloween ghost hunt will feature World renowned Psychic Chip Coffey! Chip is featured on the A&E Channel TV show, Paranormal State. He also is featured on the Biography Channel’s Psychic Kids. Also appearing is Paranormal Investigator Brian Harnois. Brian was on both the Sci-Fi Channel hit shows, Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International! Other personalities appearing at the event are Jonathan Watts from United Skeptics and Believers. Jonathan is a tech specialist in the paranormal field. He uses and experiments with a wide array of electronic devices to record and communicate with spirits.

7:00pm- 8:00pm Demonology and new Paranormal Museum lecture by John Zaffis
8:00pm- 9:00pm Lecture/Slideshow by Jason and Grant
9:00pm- 2:00am Break up into groups and investigate the terminal
