Move over Weber’s…there’s a new mustard in town

dscn0114

My apologies to Weber’s…I will still use your horseradish mustard when need be.

But…

A few weeks ago I picked up my first jar of the Broadway Market’s Famous Horseradish stand’s mustard…this stuff is going to be part of the Byrd’s regular condiment stock from here on out.

For fans of their horseradish, this mustard delivers the same type of kick you have come to expect from Zen and Wanda.

Two words…BUY SOME!

It has worked well with burgers, sausage, hot dogs and a secret pleasure of mine, peanut butter and mustard sandwiches.

Yum…

You won’t be disappointed!

The Broadway Market’s Famous Horseradish stand’s sauerkraut

Over the weekend I purchased some sauerkraut from the Famous Horseradish stand at the Market.  They make it fresh and entirely by hand…the stuff is da bomb.  Once you have tasted this Market delight, you can never go back to any run of the mill supermarket brand.

I have had it on wieners and kielbasa, made kapusta with it and tonight with pork ribs…also purchased at Market.

If you are lucky enough, you might catch Wanda or Zen preparing the sauerkraut or their incredible horseradish while shopping at the Market.

Okay, I know I am biased to all things Broadway Market, but this is just another example of why the place is a treasure.
