Welcome to Broadway-Fillmore Alive! Our mission is to work together with community
groups, businesses, residents, churches and other organizations to help
promote, preserve and revitalize the Broadway-Fillmore area.
A new alternative Buffalo BLACK FRIDAY & SATURDAY tradition was started in 2007 at the Broadway Market for people looking for something different to do Thanksgiving weekend instead of going to a mall, etc.
The Market will be open tomorrow and Saturday with regular hours…Broadway Market favorites and visiting local speciality food purveyors including Chateau Buffalo, Hanzlian’s Sausage, Specialty Pies by Shirlene, Koops Kitchen Hot Sauces, Franklin’s Honey & Apples, Saltamontes Salsa, Peppermint Farms, Keeping Traditions Pierogi, Lancaster Hillside Wine Cellar & more will be on hand for a one of a kind Buffalo experience.
Read Saint Adalbert Basilica’s complete Christmas schedule including info about a Christmas Concert and traditional Feast of the Three Kings Mass on 01/02/20010. St. Adalbert Basilica is honored to host soprano vocalist Brittany Mruczek, accompanied by Steven Kroczynski and Michael Gmyrek. The concert of Polish Kolędy and other traditional Christmas Carols will start at 3:20 p.m. Mass will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by an informal reception.
Plus, I snapped a few photos…me being the person I am, thought my digital camera was charged…it was not. I only got to take four photos before I received the wonderful battery low shutting down message.
Here they are…

If you are looking for a cool event and place to go to beat the Black Friday and Saturday madness or to take relatives in town for Thanksgiving, come to the Broadway Market next Friday and Saturday to its third Christmas Fair.
