These pictures are of Arty’s Grill on Dyngus Day…sent in by BFA reader Ronald Sokolowski…THANKS RON…love “The Pussy Willow Lounge!”
As an aside, if you have never been to Arty’s…you should check the place out…they have light lunches and it is a just a fun relaxing place to simply kick back and have a few pops.
As an aside of an aside, I have a few more sets of DD pictures to post…look for them throughout the rest of this week…I just didn’t want to overwhelm the site at one time with pics from DD and thought it was best to spread them out.

What a great time it was at Arty’s on Saturday afternoon…thanks to an email earlier in the day from Forgotten Buffalo, I got check out Jerry Darlak and the Touch as they played at Arty’s Christmas party.
Thank you to all who participated in last night’s historic tour of taverns in Polonia. Despite 8-12 inches of snow…we only had 8 cancellations! Isn’t Buffalo great!!!!!!
If you missed last night’s Forgotten Buffalo Polish Holiday Tavern Tour or still have a few polkas in you…join Jerry Darlak and the Touch at Arty’s Grill on Peckham Street (near the New York Central Terminal) TODAY @ 2pm. This is free show in one of the best family owned taverns in the Historic Polonia District. Arty’s has a great selection of Polish Beers and is only minutes from the 190-Smith Fillmore exit.
So after I went to the Broadway Market, I made my way to Arty’s Grill.
