Something to ponder this week from the Broadway Market
Caught this on the Broadway Market’s Facebook page:
As you are contemplating the upcoming week, here is a question for you to ponder. Who stole the keeshka?
Have a great week!!!

I love it when things I do in the neighborhood turn out great. Such was the case with the Polka, Piwo, and Pierogi event at the Broadway Market on Saturday. It also served as a reminder to me as to what the Market can be year round. This treasure of ours over here in B-F needs to be an ethnic food magnet for all of WNY.

From organizer Andy Golebiowski on Facebook:
Polish 40 Days of Christmas continued on January 15 at the St. Stan’s Social Center in Buffalo. In this video, Fr. Czesław Krysa gets the crowd going with the Polish Christmas Carol-Kolęda “Dzisaj w Betlejem” (Today in Bethlehem).
Here is a WIVB story on the event.

See my similar post about Saint Adalbert Basilica! Same applies here.

Take one angelic voice and put it into one angelic setting and you have one great event.
Since Saint Adalbert Basilica can only have special Masses now, I treasure the time I get to spend inside it.
As demonstrated with the large crowd on hand Saturday, people support this church. As an oratory, it should have never been limited to special Masses. There need to be a Mass in there every Sunday at the very least.
